Status: offline 		You could start a thread titled "Artists who APPEAR to be confirmed for ACL 2008" -- otherwise, you know what'll happen...some of the names won't come through for the actual lineup announcement and people will start bitching.

Artists that sources tell us may be at Zilker Park in September, but, due to the uncertain nature of concert bookings this far in advance and the petulance of musicians, cannot be 100% confirmed at this time.


I'm just glad there's something started.  I checked the guy out, he's got some skills on the guitar.

I'm liking the thread title, but I fear it won't all fit onscreen due to space limitiations. (I'd lose the comma after "but" because it feels unnecessary, but that's just me.)  I give you a gold star for using "petulance" this morning, though!

Hey now, don't be generalizing us lurkers.

I was going to point out that the comma after "but" would be very acceptable for effect, IF the lead up to it didn't need the comma which then sets off the "but" by itself and makes it silly.  So another option would be to keep the comma after "but" and change the wording preceding it.

But, I'm not going to point it out now because I have obviously been scared away.
