Since radiohead is a lock for sunday. (no source, just a really strong vibe) do you think Pearl Jam could play Saturday? I believe they are going to be touring in sept. so this could happen..

Also, Radiohead is playing lolla on Friday night. That means it will give them time to rest up for ACL!!!!

I have no intelligence other than what's been discussed here, but I agree at this point that there is little chance Radiohead plays at all.

PJ seems possible to probable. Why do people think Neil Young is going to get booked? He hasn't been touring has he? Unless he launches a new tour in the summer or fall.

His name has been brought up a lot for the past few years.. I really don't know why

For real tho, Pearl jam coming out with the second leg of their tour soon. So I'm going to throw an 80% chance they will be there. So, that means there is an 80% chance I'll be jumping up and down like a school girl..

Also, I can do whatever I want!

I don't think he will be. I'm always hoping for Radiohead, but I never count on it. PJ would be cool.

I'd be happy enough with PJ, but I'd love Neil.  He's one of my long-time favorites and I haven't seen him in a couple years.  I think the view is that he fits the Petty/Dylan mold well and just makes sense.  But you're probably right that that is not enough.  I hope the rumor/speculation is on point, though.

I would love Neil headlining, too. Although I'd be concerned about him playing a hushed set on the AT&T stage and being stuck in the back with all the yappers. I saw him do a short set at Farm Aid a few years ago and I saw him with Crazy Horse when I was in high school and not quite old enough to really appreciate it as much as I could have.

I've seen Neil Young acoustically, with Pearl Jam backing him, and with Crazy Horse a couple times.  I've been awestruck each time.  I feel like I would be like Rustin/Angelina at Dylan if he headlined.

I'm not going to lie... I've never really heard much of Neil Young Every time I try I get sidetracked. I think I need to fix this problem.

Radiohead is going to headline Sunday, ACL has been trying to book them since 2004. As cool as Pearl Jam would be, I have already seen them like 5 times and I really wouldn't stick around to see them close Sunday night.

He is touring June/July throughout Europe, including 1 or 2 festivals.

No, for the 1000000000000000th time, you are wrong.  Radiohead already said which cities they were playing.  Austin ain't one of them.

even if Radiohead doesn't play, I saw some poster floating around out there that at least has Thom Yorke, Jeff Tweedy and Robert Plant playing in some kind of Super Jam on the Kiddie Stage.

Anyone else hear about this?

That's because Thom Yorke is doing a DJ set in the Blackstone Winery tent on Saturday, so he's hanging out all weekend.
