Status: offline 		That is true Livia...I have gotten in that late, but by that time I am running solo since friends have turned in by then. And yes the CC shows are always crowded especially the Escovedo and McMurtry shows

I just saw Al a couple weeks ago - got there around 9:45 and within 30 min. it was sold out.  That was without all you tourists invading my space(s).

Status: offline 		The Shady Grove show will be early - 7 PM-ish.  It's KGSR's weekly concert they sponsor there every Thursday.

Edit:  Wow - the Jones Family Singers are on that bill too.

Status: offline 		Looks like that little bit of ticket info was a tad premature, no?  All of the aftershows have now disappeared from the Front Gate site, although the link for the Black Keys show is still accessible (thanks for catching that, Doigman!).  Maybe they will indeed be announced all at once for an onsale date of Saturday 8/16 as previously mentioned. 

I did enjoy seeing the info spread so rapidly to other sites including the Statesman's music blog and the Austinist site.  That's further proof of the number of lurkers out there who read but never post here, and why some of the little details regarding presales for concert tickets need to be discussed discreetly...no need to give opportunists/scalpers the advantage!
