Overall just one big conflict... Sonic Youth against Auerbach
ouch...

Odd to see Deer Tick, The Dodos and Arctic Monkeys in such an early spot...

Deer Tick leading into Felice Brothers is an absolutely tremendous way to get Saturday started.  Only thing better is Dead Weather leading into Pearl Jam.  I was convinced that Ben Harper was going to be in that Dead Weather slot.

Worst.Fucking.Schedule.Ever

They have somehow managed to turn my amazing 10+ bands I wanna see Saturday into being able to see 3-4 and have a 5 HOUR window from 2-7 with nothing but shit to see.

Seeing 10 bands in a day is a bit of a stretch from personal experience, but sometimes someone drops out of the lineup and everything gets moved...

Hopefully it will happen for you or maybe you'll find something interesting you didn't planned to see...

I am absolutely stoked about Sunday. They could not have scheduled it better (for me).

Black Joe
Rev. Peyton (will miss the 1st few mins but that's it)
Clutch
H. Bastards
Toadies
Harper
Auerbach
PJ

That is going to be a damn busy day right there.

I dont think its awful. They did put three must sees against each other. STS9/Devotchka/Decemberists sucks but I know this would happen at least once. 3 bands I really wanted to see though. Time to start making some choices.

Wow, sunday is the worst day for me.  Although I was expecting it to be.  Nothing at all between Black Joe and State Radio and then again from there until Dan.

Man that new Decemberists album is not very good. They've come down with a case of ADD.

Wow.  The Hazards of Love is probably my second favorite CD of the year.  It's amazing.

If you're not a fan of Hazards of Love stay far away from their set.  They will play HOL in its entirety and nothing else.

I've only actually listened to about 15 albums this year, and I wouldn't even put it in my top 10 out of those 15 albums. And I would honestly put them in my top 10-15 bands. IMO they've got to get away from this 10 minute song crap with titles like Something/Something/Something. This album was just all over the place. Too much going on. Sometimes less is more.

I've probably only listened to 15 or so to, and would have put it around 10 before I saw them play it live.  It's not to be missed.

I was hoping to hear the HOL in its entirety.

The schedule couldn't have worked out much better for my tastes.

FRI:
Blitzen Trapper
Avett Bros
Walkmen
Phoenix
Thievery
KOL

SAT:
Deer Tick!
Felice
Grizzy Bear
Flogging Molly
Decemberists
Dave possibly

SUN:
Black Joe
Rev Peyton
Heartless
Toadies
Dead Weather
Auerbach
PJ

Question - Is it worth leaving the Barton Springs stage after Dead Weather to hear some of Auerbach and then try to make it back for PJ? Was thinking it might be better to secure a good spot for PJ. Was really looking forward to Dan but can catch him in New Orleans in November.
